How does the age check for activities work?
Each activity can have an age specification that determines who is allowed to participate. sawyer automatically checks the age during registration to make sure your child fits the activity.
This is how it works
The age is automatically checked for each participant during registration.
The calculation is based on the age on the day of the activity, not on today's date - you will see a display like 'X years (Y years on the day of the activity)'.
If your child is too young, the message 'You must be at least X years old' will appear and registration will be blocked. If they are too old, you will see 'This offer is for participants up to X years old'.
The age range is displayed on the activity page, either as 'From X years' or as an age range.
